What have you learned about the Human Body? Can you write a 30 Second Science Blog about the Digestive System?

Human Body Naznin

The digestive system is parts of the body working together, that help turn foods and liquid into the building blocks and fuel the body needs. Lots of organs help in this.

Hello and welcome to Caitlin and Abbie’s
30 second science

We're taking about the liver and the gall bladder.

The liver is a large organ located in front
and above the stomach. It filters toxins
from the blood which makes bile (which
breaks down fats) and some blood proteins.

The gall bladder a small sac-like organ
located by the duodenum. It stores and releases
bile(a digestive chemical which is produced
in the liver) into the small intestine.

Small intestine

The small intestine is the long thin winding tube that food goes through after it leaves the stomach.

The Mouth By Rosie

The mouth

The mouth is the first part of the digestive system, where food enters the body.
In the mouth are six glands which pump out saliva. This saliva starts the beginning of the digestive system. Also in the mouth are the teeth which turn the food into little pieces by biting it.

Do you know that when you eat your food goes into your mouth and down the oesophagus?
Then your food goes to the stomach and gets broken down by acids then goes into the pancreas. The pancreas takes the nutrients out of the food.

by Brodie digestive system

Did you know when you eat food it goes down your esophagus to your stomach into your pancreas the pancreas takes out all the nutrients out of the food then goes through the liver and out the anus.

Digestive System By Hannah

The Digestive system

First the food enters the month. Then your food in broken into little pieces by your saliva.

Next the food travels down the oesophagus.

The oesophagus leads from the mouth to the stomach. In the stomach the food is churned in to smaller pieces sometimes even

The Liver helps break down fats.

After the food has left the stomach it travels to the small intestine. The small intestine is a tube the food into though.

From the small intestine the food travels to the large intestine, which is a big tube that the food goes into.

The Rectum is where the faeces are stored before they are ready to exit the body.

The anus is where the faeces exits the body.

Digestive system By Robyn

In science we have been learning about the human body.

How the digestive system works!

It starts in the mouth where food is partially broken down then it slides through the oesophagus into the stomach and then it drops into the pancreas. After that it slowly slithers into the small intestine. Sooner or later it is dropped in to the large intestine where it passes the poo through to the rectum and from there it exits the body through the anus.

30 Second Science Human Body Digestive System by Kate and Ross

The Digestive System.

This is 30-second science with Kate and Ross. This show is about the digestive system.
“Over to you Kate!”

“When you eat your food it starts in your mouth where it gets chopped and chewed and saliva will help to break it down.”

“Then it will go down a long tube called the
Oesophagus. An adult Oesophagus is
20 metres long.”

“In the stomach there is acid that will
mix with the food. The acid is so strong that if you
did not have a protective layer in the inside
of the stomach it would burn right through
you.”

Sorry that is all we have time for. We hoped
you enjoyed this piece of info. Good-Bye!

Digestive System by Victoria

Did you know that your tongue has four different types of taste buds?

Yes , they are sour, sweet, salty and bitter.
Your teeth break down your food and it goes through your oesophagus and to your stomach.

FACT: Did you know that your guts can stretch the size of a tennis court?

Food goes through your intestines and out your anus.

Thank you for listening.

“Ok this is 3o seconds science presented by Ross and Kate; this show is focusing on the digestive system, over to you Kate!”

“When you eat your food it starts in your mouth where it gets chomped and chewed and saliva helps break it down.”

“Then it goes down a long tube about 20 meters in adults, called the Oesophagus leading to the stomach.”

“In the stomach there is acid that mixes with the food. The acid is so strong that if you did not have a protective layer in the inside of the stomach it would burn through and kill you.”

“Sorry that is all we have time for, hope you enjoyed our speech.”

Hallo! Today I’m going to tell you about the digestive system.
The digestive system works so that first food is
chewed in the mouth then is pushed and pulled by the muscles in the oesophagus down the stomach.
