Digestive System By Hannah

The Digestive system

First the food enters the month. Then your food in broken into little pieces by your saliva.

Next the food travels down the oesophagus.

The oesophagus leads from the mouth to the stomach. In the stomach the food is churned in to smaller pieces sometimes even

The Liver helps break down fats.

After the food has left the stomach it travels to the small intestine. The small intestine is a tube the food into though.

From the small intestine the food travels to the large intestine, which is a big tube that the food goes into.

The Rectum is where the faeces are stored before they are ready to exit the body.

The anus is where the faeces exits the body.
